Reddbecca:
So even in communist Japan, where there's no Second Amendment, no law allowing you to own a gun, and no rights to privacy or protection against double jeapordy and search and seizure, they've still got crime problems.

Seems that no matter how tight you make the laws, somebody will always find a way to break them and do what they're not supposed to do.

So what is your point? That we shouldn't have any laws because people will break them? And we should live in a completely lawless society? Of course, people will break laws. We can't completely eliminate crime but we can reduce it.

Let's use your own logic against you. Texas has a lot of guns, but they've still got crime problems. So no matter how many guns you have, somebody will always find a way to break laws and do what they're not supposed to do.
Progress is being able to admit that you are wrong.
