The problem with politics in general is that people just follow without thinking though. That mayor guy just looked like he had not clue what he was even talking about, but knew what would look good to people who just want violence to end.

Kind of making an A + B = 3 or something, people just go along with anything they are told. Maybe that is the way american politics is turning, i mean electing bush was also that sort of thing, people are not looking for someone who will be a good president, they are looking for someone who makes them feel comfortable when they are watching TV!!
Movies stars rather than brains.

It's interesting you see that and I take your opinion as an outside opinion; if you can see that you can see just how gun control is passed in Illinois.

Your talking about Mayor Daley.

There was more I said on camera, but the editors only took about 50% of what I said. I don't have a problem with that, that is media. But they did ask me these questions.

1) Why does anyone need an assault weapon.

2) What do you think of all this (meaning the protest) (This is what was on TV)

There was more that was talked about off camera. Like the racial issue of the protest; and also the history of gun control in the United States and how cities with high black populations tend to have the most restrictive gun laws. We also talked about 50 caliber weapons and just how difficult it would be to shoot down an airplane, even if it was just taking off or landing. I also mentioned that 50 caliber weapons have never been used in the US to murder anyone.

The reporter was in complete agreeance with me and understood my depth on knowledge on the issue. Which is why she wanted to have some interview with gun owners.

That which does not kill you, makes you stronger.
