And another thing, there IS gun registration in Illinois, also gun OWNER registration. That's what the FOID card is for. That's what form 4473 is for. And if you knew anything about how the laws worked then you'd know the police can access the information at any time to tell who bought what gun, and know exactly where they live.

Actually the FOID card is not registration. I know I have one. It's a simple identification card that allows you in Illinois to handle and own firearms, even ammunition is included.

It does not mean that your guns are registered. When I bought all my firearms, the only "registration" is the sales slip that the gun store must keep. That is about it. So let's say one of my firearms was in a crime and still had the serial number. They can trace the sale to see what gun store it came from and who bought it. I stressed the word trace because that is the information that push is using to target certain gun stores.

Not every gun store has traces. I noticed that Maxon's gun store has no traces and they sell pistols assault weapons here in Illinois but chuck's had 2370 traces. The gun store I frequent GATs guns has about 312 traces. Suburban had 712 traces.

Also from what I am seeing, Jessie isn't targeting all gun stores like I thought he would do. He is targeting gun stores within a certain geographical distance from Chicago. Also from what I am seeing he is also targeting stores that have large traces.

Now I know I have been getting on push but I feel I have been fair in saying that he does have some valid points that pro-gunners have yet to excuse. They don't even deal with gun traces; but like anything get defensive when a gun store gets protested.

Regardless how you feel about the issue, the aspect of gun traces must be acknowledged. We must ask ourselves why does Chuck's have 2370 traces while Suburban has 712 traces, while other stores have less traces and some even have none.
